Throughout our Destination Services Programs, Coppergate works to ensure that the partner’s settlement is a direct focus, as well as that of the transferee. With the addition of our Spousal Assistance Program, Coppergate will assist the spouse with their career planning, ensuring they can continue this important element appropriately in their new location. Our career specialists understand the process and are available to help.
Two levels of career guidance are available depending on the intensity required by the spouse or partner.
Level One is for individuals who are looking to utilize the assignment to make a change in the direction of their career. This comprehensive program will build on the assistance given in the destination services element of the transition and will focus the individual on a particular career they might consider pursuing. The services include:
- Navigation of work visa process (including EAD processing)
- Career exploration
- Development of their resume for the location and industry they choose
- Personal marketing plan and market research strategies for chosen field
- Interviewing and negotiating techniques
Level Two is for individuals looking to replicate their career from their home to their new location. Ideally suited to those individuals who do not require as much intervention in terms of career direction, Coppergate’s service includes:
- Navigation of work visa process (including EAD processing)
- Development of their resume for the location
- Personal marketing plan and market research strategies
- Interviewing and negotiation techniques
